Gaetano D'Agostino Still Confident About Juventus Move

The transfer saga surrounding Gaetano D'Agostino isn't likely to end anytime soon. Udinese want no less than €18 million for the playmaker, which is about €6m more than what Juventus are willing to offer.

The two clubs held talks about the midfielder today, with Udinese determined not to lower their demands.

D'Agostino is known to have a strong desire to move to Juventus, and today he spoke to Sky Sport24 about his disappointment that the negotiations have stalled.

"I have learned that the negotiations are blocked, but I hope they continue," he said. "I have an agreement with [president Giampaolo] Pozzo, who promised me he would let me go once I reached a certain level, and Juventus for me would represent an important step up.

"I don't know why the negotiations have stalled, tomorrow we will know more."

Recently D'Agostino also made his first appearance with the Italian national team for the friendly against Northern Ireland.

DIGITECH BAD MONKEY

The Bad Monkey Tube Overdrive gives your amp a boost just when you need it. It has been compared to the TS-808 but with having the unique ability to smooth out the distortion by use of the low and high EQ controls. Most overdrive pedals give you one tone control knob thus limiting your tonal options. You asked for a pedal that will maintain your guitar’s distinct tone and DigiTech delivered! With its rugged design, separate mixer and amp outputs, and amazing tonal options, this pedal truly is a Bad Monkey. From Blues to Rock to everything in between, it will give you that amazing overdriven tube amp sound that will keep begging you to crank it up!

Features

  • Level boosts the output level of your guitar signal.
  • Low adjusts boost and cut of bass frequencies.
  • High adjusts boost and cut of upper harmonics.
  • Gain provides smooth tube amp distortion to your sound.
  • High adjusts boost and cut of high frequencies.
  • Dual Outputs. The Amp output is for connecting directly to a guitar amplifier. The Mixer output features Cabinet Emulation circuitry for connecting directly to a mixing board or recording device.

ISP DECIMATOR Noise Reduction

From the original inventors of the HUSH® noise reduction comes the latest, most advanced, patent pending, state of the art technology in real time noise reduction. The Decimator offers a revolutionary breakthrough in Noise Reduction processing with an unparalleled level of performance. The HUSH system, as well as all other noise reduction systems suffers from one major problem inherent in their design: The system cannot be immediately responsive to both very short-term staccato notes and long slowly decaying signals. The typical downward expander noise reduction system suffers from a dead zone in the release response characteristic, which causes a compromise in tracking both fast decaying notes and long sustained notes.

The Decimator design offers a novel approach to tracking the envelope of the input signal called Time Vector Processing. Due to this novel approach in controlling the expander, the Decimator system will instantly respond to short staccato notes and, at the same time, will provide a very slow ripple free control of long sustained notes. This means that the Decimator noise reduction system is the most transparent and highest performance noise reduction system available. The Decimator Pro Rack uses both Dynamic filtering and low-level downward expansion. A Time Vector Processing circuit controls the release response of both the downward expander and dynamic filter.

The input of the Decimator Pro Rack is TRS ¼ inch balanced to eliminate any common mode noise. Both channels can be used at a –10 or +4dBU reference level. We have also designed the Decimator Pro Rack using high quality studio grade voltage controlled amplifiers for both the dynamic filer and downward expander. This provides dynamic range noise performance of greater than 118db. This translates into the most transparent noise reduction system you’ve ever heard.

The Decimator Pro Rack is extremely easy to use; simply inset the Decimator at the end of your signal chain or, insert the Decimator Pro Rack in the effects loop of your amplifier to clean up the noise present at the amplifier input as well as the noise in the amplifiers pre-amp section. Packaged in a single space 19-inch rack, the Decimator Pro Rack offers the highest possible performance in a single ended noise reduction system, period.

Audition the Decimator today and experience the highest level of performance available in a noise reduction system. The Decimator Pro Rack is available in both a Pro Rack G specifically designed for guitar and instrument applications and a Pro Rack S for Studio and live sound applications.

BOSS DS 1 Distortion

The classic DS-1 Distortion pedal provides a harder distortion effect for guitar and keyboard sounds. Instead of toneless, fuzzy distortion, the DS-1 faithfully reproduces all the subtle nuances of playing dynamics at any volume. The Boss DS-1 is a basic distortion pedal for guitar, manufactured by the Roland Corporation under the brand name Boss since 1978. It has one tone knob, one level knob, and one distortion knob. It can produce a thin, light, snappy distortion up to a heavy and harsh sound.
The DS-1 has been famously used in songs such as Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Kurt Cobain used the DS-1 while making the Nevermind album. The DS-1 has also been a trademark of the sounds of such acclaimed guitarists as Joe Satriani and Grunge McGurgan from Delayed Reaction, who use it mostly as a booster, John Petrucci of Dream Theater, Steve Vai, who uses a DS-1 with Robert Keeley's 'Ultra' modification and the Analog Man DS1/Pro mod. The DS-1 is normally used by electric guitarists, but some bassists have been known to use the pedal. Some bass players include Chris Wolstenholme of Muse on the album Showbiz, Al Cisneros of Om during live shows, as well as Mark Stoermer of The Killers using the pedal live with a Boss GE-7 EQ to remove treble.
The DS-1 has a very simple circuit, based around a single op-amp. The distortion is produced using a variable gain circuit with diodes shorting the output to ground to produce hard clipping of the input waveform similar to the ProCo Rat distortion pedal. This distortion stage is followed by a passive tone filter and volume control. The tone control is scooped in the midrange, similar to the Big Muff. It consists of a simple fixed -6dB/okt low pass filter and a simple fixed -6dB/okt high pass filter using a potentiometer to mix the two signals. This is different than the tone control of the ProCo Rat distortion pedal which has a simple -6dB/okt low pass filter with variable cutoff frequency to remove the higher frequencies from the distorted signal.
